The Spanish designer Alejandro Villarreal collaborate with Jesús Ramírez have created a lamp with energy derived from the hydraulic system of household water pipe, called the Hydroelectric lamp.

The idea was takes advantage of an energy field that is usually be forgotten, and use them to generate new energy. This product has the same logic techniques with conventional hydroelectric power, only on a smaller scale. It consists of a turbine that connects to the plumbing system. Natural flow of water causes the movement of micro turbines, that in turn transform this movement into electrical current. This stream is sent to the Hydroelectric lamp.
