This contemporary mountain dwellings is called the Alpine House, built on a steeply sloped site devided by an existing irrigation ditch, harmonize detailed to weather the harsh alpine climate. For the indoors, LLC choose the wood-lined interiors that are detailed to provide intimacy while opening up to the panoramic mountain views. Then, the existing irrigation water is routed through a series of alternating intimate and dramatic gardens that culminate in a pond of the lower part of the property where the water resumes its course across the mountain.
